My dad was trying to teach Kingston how to swim, it's never too early to learn. Kingston was having a whale of a time...get it, whale, water, Kingston in the pool? I am hilarious!

Kingston's First Trip to the Zoo

So Kingston went to the zoo for the first time yesterday, it was a spur of the moment decision. I was way excited for him to feed the giraffes, and was somewhat disappointed to see that he was not amused. He pretty much had the same expression on his face the entire time. It was really hot and sticky, so I can't really blame him and he is only ten months old, so I guess I shouldn't have expected some amazing reaction from him. Well I had a good time. We'll go back for sure when he's a little older and can appreciate wildlife as much as his mother.

Kingston was forced to give the crackers to the giraffe after he was told he could not eat it himself.

Chicago Cubs Game

Well yesterday Kingston went to his first Chicago Cubs game. We had tons of fun with Kingston in the windy city. It was about a two hour drive, he started getting restless, so we were bad and took him out of car seat so he could sit on Grandma's lap which he loves to do. So we drove along Lake Shore Drive and saw the aquarium and museam and Navy Pier which we need to go to, then we parked and ate lunch by the lake which was nice. After lunch we took off to a shuttle parking lot and then took the shuttle to Wrigley Field. It was crowded of course. We walked around for a while and took some pics then went in and waited for the game to start. It was indeed a long game. It went overtime into the 13th inning tied 1-1 with the Houston Astros, until the bottom of the 13th the bases were loaded and Soriano hit a grand slam homerun winning the game for the Cubbies 5 to 1. It was a great ending to a good day. Kingston had a blast and we got some good pics! Pics are a little out of order so bear with it...
