A Day With the Fam

Here's us at Uncle Mike's house shortly after Christmas. Everyone adored Kingston, he met a lot of the other side of the family for the first time and they enjoyed him thoroughly. He also met his second cousin Jocelyn. They're both cutie pies!

Kingston and Gramps!

These pics were taken Christmas morning. Kingston knows how to behave with his grandpa. They have a bright future together I can tell. Kingston will be a star grandson!

Jumpin Kingston

Kingston loves his kangaroo jumper. I'm convinced it's helped build muscles in his legs. He's a very strong baby. He'll be a first round pick for the NFL draft by the time he's 18. Make that money for mom and dad Kingston! Hundred dollar bills ya'll!

Chestunts Roasting On An Open Fire

Kingston's first Christmas. He had fun that day. He got all dressed up in his Calvin Klein Baby's first Christmas onesie and was ready to party. Such a sweetie.

Mumsy

The most recent picture of me and my baby boy. This was right before Christmas. He looked so cute in his little Calvin Klein onesie. I love gnawing on this boy's face, it's so gnawable, that's a word...that I just made up.

Leader of the pack!

Kingston's first on a motorcycle. This was on Thanksgiving at Ryan's Aunt Deb's house. He looks a little unsure, but that's Kingston's favorite look. It's his Blue Steel.

Chillaxin

Here's Kingston chillaxin in his boppy. He used to love this thing before he got to big for it. I recommend boppys to every new mother though, they're nice and hip! http://www.boppy.com/

Daddy's Little Man

Kingston's best friend is by far his dad. They get to hang out all day and honestly I'm a little jealous. It's good though he knows his dad and smiles the most for him I think. His resemblance to his dad is almost uncanny. No paternity test needed here though.

First Shower w/ Dad!

Here's our little guy taking a shower with dad for the first time. He loved it! He was just enjoying the warm water and being snuggled by dad, we were pretty surprised he was so content. He spent most of his time sucking on Ryan's arms which was cute and tried to get a little nip while he was at it. It was funny.

This was after his shower, all wrapped up in his little towel that Auntie Lani got for him. I just love his little tum tum, he looks like a miniature Buddha, covered in hair...

Sweet Aphistian

Here is Kingston with his first dog, whom he barely got to know. Sadly, Aphistian is no longer with us. Although he was a poet and a gentleman. I miss him, Kingston I'm sure does too. They'll get to frolick together in the next life. This pic was dad's idea.

He lufs me!

Kingston's favorite place to sleep is on anyone's chest. Brings him back to the beginning, his first resting place when he came into the world. He was so tiny here. He's gotten so big since then, it's mind blowing. One of my favorite pics of him and I. Although you can't tell it's me, but we both know who it was.

Tub time!

This was actually just moments before the baby shower. He had his first bath. As you can see, this is his favorite thing to do. He's slowly getting more and more used to them. The temperature has to be just right and he has to have a full stomach if you want cooperation out of him. Otherwise it's quite hellish. One day Kingston, one day, you will love to take baths.

Baby Shower Day!

This was the day I had my baby shower, we had it post baby as you can see. Dad hung out with us and we won the alphabet baby game, it was mucho funo. Kingston looks a little alienish in this pic, but I love it cuz he's so tiny and awkward in his dad's hands, and Ryan just looks so dang hot here. My boys!

A la hospital!

Here's our little Kingston wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in his lovely hospital bassinet. That was his very first blanket given to him by his grandma and grandpa. He was so sweet, I was so exhausted from the drugs and from all the work and quite frankly pushing a 8 pound baby out of me. But even after all of it, I couldn't sleep, I didn't want to take my eyes off him.

Fresh out of the oven...

Here is Kingston's first picture taken of him October 4th. It was a pretty simple delivery. I had back labor pain, so that made it a little difficult. The drugs helped and believe you me, I will be doing that again, but wayheyheyhey earlier. I had a feeling he was gonna be a stubborn one. Just like his parents. But he wanted out, it only took about five minutes of pushing. Thank you son. He was born at 3:30am at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. It was an unbelievable experience and still shocks me to this day of how it happened, but it was by far the best thing that's ever happened to me. And after that whole experience, I've decided that I want a lot of kids. Who knew??
